Mobile App Development: Outsource or In-House?
Thinking of building your own mobile app? The decision to outsource app development or build in-house is a common dilemma for startup founders.

Designing a Gift!
Being designer in project teams may seem quite easy for some but is actually one of the hardest tasks. Because everyone except you might think that they could be a ‘’designer for 15 minutes!’’. Things done by those who have more technical business are considered as Pandora’s Box as they are usually perceived as unknown areas, so people do not dare to get too close to them. What about design? Is that so?
People usually forget that a designer’s role covers both making the most suitable design for the target group and trying to make most of the people happy at the same time. The design itself might be perceived as a process of putting designer’s personal delight on paper or screen by those who cannot see from the viewpoint of a designer. For that reason, people even out of this business do not have any difficulty in making comments such as “Does not that colour look better?, “So the trend is flat, we can continue like that?”, “Amazon (Apple etc.) did like that maybe we can do similar things.” or some of the brave ones might even say “We can exactly make the same of theirs”. That’s true that everyone has their own delights, but people can easily make these comments as they are not actually aware of the fact that the designers do not create anything pursuing their own pleasures.

Supporting The User Experience with Motion
While designing interfaces for digital screens it’s important to think about the states and transactions between scenes and how these will integrate with each other. As we dive deeper into the navigational realms of a digital product, motion helps us understand the relationship between states and leaves us a trail so it’s easier to navigate throughout the final product we’re designing.

New Trend: Being Yourself!
For the last few years, we have been experiencing a period in which trends themselves have become a trend. In this context, new interpretations of the art movements that date back many years before, or the structures that other companies have prepared for themselves become popular -with the excuse of making things easier!-; brands and products have become subject to disidentification; people try to use terms -Blockchain, Chatbot, Artificial Intelligence- at least once in a sentence without understanding their technologies; or some terms are used in graphic design interpretations -Bold Typography, Gradient and Vibrant Colors, Vintage Illustration etc.- as they are only included in the trend writings, although they do not fit their character.

Pitfalls of Applying Frameworks and Organizational Processes
Starting from the industrial revolution to a few decades ago, manufacturing in all industries had a certain set of requirements with rare exceptions. Hence, the process of manufacturing was repeatable. It was a best practice to define sequential processes which produce predictable results since it ensured both quality and planning precisely. Influenced by the success of this model, other industries adopted the same approach. Waterfall methodology in Software Industry is an example of this. Organizations made this approach a foundation to their way of working.
